ADJUSTABLE BLACKBOY -The way of the future |
$2,200.00 |
|
***SOLD**** “Adjustable Blackboy – the way of the future”. Dentist chair base, steel, chain, fisholeum finish. 500mm dia. base 3.8m tall Emulating nature is a difficult thing yet as an artist I am drawn to its beauty and compelled to want to re-create it. So I muse with my own form of genetic engineering and decide that plants should be fully adjustable to suit our changing needs…oh and this little beauty is very water conscious. Perhaps such creations will adorn gardens of the future. |

DROUGHT AFFECTED CATTLE |
$600.00 |
|
DROUGHT AFFECTED CATTLE. 2004. Old bed heads, assorted iron seconds. Inspired by some ribby looking cows around here, these little fellas have proven light on the feed and worms don’t seem to be a problem. They don’t wreck fences, require milking or attract the flies. This herd of two can be split and purchased individually if room is a problem. |

EMERGENCE |
$550.00 |
|
$550.00 AUD Price includes GST. Does not include delivery.
Sand/cement, steel, aluminium, ceramic tile, grout, timber, expanded foam. Approx. size: 200kg weight . height 1600mm. arm span 1800mm. Base 800mm square.
Emergence is a self-portraitic sculpture that indulges my reflections on a period of transition from ceramic tiler to sculptor/visual artist. The piece has evolved since its creation in early 2000. Its large plinth base featuring a hand, foot and cranium bursting through the ceramic tile, have now been removed. The reduction in size correlating to my realisation that one does not stop being one thing as they take on another. |
